This Privacy Policy applies to the interactions with and the processing of personal information from our clients, potential clients and other persons visiting the PACT Mediation website (www.pactmediation.com.au), or having contact with us.
PACT Mediation collect, stores, uses and discloses personal information in order to perform various functions and activities in adherence with the Australian Privacy Principles as stipulated in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012.

PACT Mediation ensures that all personal information collected is securely stored and safe from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We have in place policies and procedures for information to be kept confidential and meet National Privacy Principles. Staff are trained and conversant with the codes of conduct about privacy.
PRIVACY ON THE INTERNET
On the PACT Mediation website, our Internet Service Provider makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes – the address of the server you connect from, your server’s top-level domain name (e.g. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc), the date and time of your visit to the website, the pages accessed, and documents downloaded, the previous site visited, and the type of browser used.
No attempt will be made to identify anonymous users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the Internet Service Provider’s logs.

YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
PACT Mediation will only record your email address in the event that you send a message via a webpage request or email or if you request update notifications. If you do not want your email address to be recorded by PACT Mediation then please advise us via email at info@pactmediation.com.au.
Your email address and/or your postal addresses will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided them and they will not be added to any mailing lists, or used or disclosed for any other purpose, without your prior written consent.
The internet is an insecure medium and you should be aware that there are inherent risks transmitting information within it. Information submitted via email or web forms may be at risk of being intercepted, read or modified. If you do not wish to contact PACT Mediation by email, including sending any online forms, please contact us for postal details.
Our website contains links to other sites. PACT Mediation is not responsible for the privacy practices nor the content of any web sites other than our own.

If you have a request and where practical, we will communicate with you anonymously.

Our mediators are bound by section 10H of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). We encourage you to please read this section carefully so that you can fully understand what information confidential and what information is not.
