FAMILY DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is a specialised form of mediation under Family Law, otherwise known as Family Mediation.
At PACT Mediation we understand that separation can be an extremely stressful and challenging time, particularly when agreeing on parenting arrangements.
Throughout the FDR process, our accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners provide a safe and confidential space to assist parties to communicate to
navigate their issues in dispute. Our impartial approach enables parties to focus on collaborating to make decisions together that are in the best interests of their children.
We offer individual meetings to determine whether FDR is the right process for the specific situation and to provide information on the process. We may also provide referral information where required.
Following the individual meetings, FDR usually occurs through a joint session where we help identify key issues, explore a variety of options, and parties can tailor a solution that meets their family's needs.
Our sessions are strictly child-focused and future
focused.
At PACT Mediation, we are committed to helping individuals resolve their disputes outside of court. Our process is designed to be efficient, stress-free, and cost-effective, providing a better alternative to traditional litigation proceedings. Let us help you find a solution that works for everyone involved.
